12 Days of Bootcamp

Today I got curious and wondered what this ol’ Bootcamp was all about at the gym. Woowee, it was a sweater. (Ha, not an ugly holiday santa and reindeer knit, but very sweat inducing slippery-when-wet-makes-pushups-tricky routine).

The instructor came up with the 12 days of bootcamp, which apparently I showed up for day 12. But nonetheless she had a great themed 45 minute routine. I think I may start a section on our resource page about cross training workouts (I just posted a new workout page). Credit for this workout goes to Steph at Latitudes in Salisbury, MA.

So, just like the song…you start at 1, then go up the list and work your way down back to one at each rotation (1…2,1…3,2,1…4,3,2,1…etc). The number also indicates the reps. This workout took about 45 min with warm-up and cool down stretching:
